Assam Tea Company

We are located at No. 10/52 on Pochin Road in the Devendra Puram area. It is a decent spot for a business like ours. Assam Tea Company has been here for a while, and even though we are far from the actual tea gardens in the north, we bring that flavor right here to our local customers. The office is pretty simple. We have a front area where we talk to people and a back area where we keep the tea. Pochin Road is usually busy with people going about their business, so we get a fair amount of foot traffic. We don't really go for those polished corporate looks. Our walls are plain and our furniture has been around as long as we have. We just focus on the tea itself and making sure the bags are packed right. It is a lot of manual work, weighing things out and sealing them up. We don't have a big marketing team or anything; we just tell people what we have and let them try it. Most of our neighbors in Devendra Puram know us by now. We just keep things honest and practical. Every day is about the same routine of checking the mail, sorting the tea, and talking to whoever walks through the door. It’s not a complicated life, but it’s what we know and we're happy to be doing it right here.
