Arya Tea Company Ltd.

We’ve been at 37, Shakespeare Sarani for a while now. It's a busy spot. Arya Tea Company Ltd. isn't fancy, just a place where we get the work done. Some days are loud with traffic outside, others are quiet. We spend most of our time dealing with tea batches. People stop by sometimes just to ask directions because Shakespeare Sarani is well known. The office isn't anything special to look at, just desks and tea samples everywhere. My cousin started helping out last year and it’s been a bit easier since then. We drink a lot of tea ourselves, mostly to make sure it's what it should be. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but we haven't got around to it. It gets hot in the afternoons here. We handle a lot of paperwork. Sometimes the tea dust gets on everything. It's just a regular business. We open early and stay late if there's a big shipment coming in or going out. It’s what we do. Not much to it besides that. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the boxes pile up in the corner. Shakespeare Sarani is a good place to be, even with all the noise from the cars. We just keep moving along. Sometimes we talk to the other shop owners nearby. It’s a community. We’ve seen the street change over the years. We stay focused on the tea.
