Artech Engineering Consultancy

We are tucked away at 1/99, Bijoygarh, right near Jadavpur University. Being in Jadavpur means there are always students and people around, which gives the area a lot of energy. Artech Engineering Consultancy is our small outfit. We focus on the technical side of things, mostly engineering bits and pieces that people need help with. Our office isn't anything special to look at. It is full of old manuals, some computer monitors that have seen better days, and plenty of pens. We spend a lot of time looking at diagrams and trying to solve technical problems that crop up. It is not the kind of work that makes for good stories, but it is important to get the details right. We have a few desks pushed together and we are often leaning over each other's shoulders to look at a screen. It gets a bit loud when we are all debating the best way to fix a problem, but it is all in good spirits. We aren’t a big firm with hundreds of employees. We are just a few people who know our way around engineering. Being near the university is nice because we can go out and grab some street food when we need a break from the calculations. We just keep doing our thing, day after day, making sure the numbers add up and the plans make sense for everyone involved. It is quiet work.
