Apeejay Surrendra Group

We are the Apeejay Surrendra Group and you can find us in the village of Narayandary. This is in the P.O. Dhalhara area, within the district of Purba-Medinipur in West Bengal. Being out in the village is quite different from being in a city like Kolkata. Life moves at a different speed here. We are surrounded by a lot of greenery and open space, which is a nice change of pace. Our setup is simple and matches the surroundings. We are part of the local community here and many of the people who work with us are from nearby. It is not a corporate environment with suits and ties. We are more likely to be seen in regular clothes, just getting our hands dirty and doing what needs to be done. The address is a bit remote, so we have to plan our supplies and deliveries carefully. Sometimes the weather affects how we get things moved around, but that is just part of living and working in rural West Bengal. We have our office space where we handle the administration, but a lot of what we do is out in the field. We are proud to be in Purba-Medinipur and we just take things one day at a time. It is a quiet life, but there is always plenty of work to keep us occupied from morning until evening.
