If you've ever walked down Cotton Street, you know how much is going on there. There are people everywhere and carts moving through the narrow lanes. Our shop is an old one. It is not a modern showroom with bright lights. We have stacks of stainless steel items all over the place. It is a bit of a maze inside sometimes. We don't have a staff of people in suits. It is just us in our regular clothes, handling the steel and talking to the customers who walk in. The noise from the street outside never stops. You hear the sounds of the market all day long. Most of our day is spent helping people find the right size or weight of steel they need. The shop gets dusty and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we don't worry about that much. We are more concerned with the stock and the people we deal with. It is a real place in a real market, and we just do our best to keep things moving along every day. No one here is trying to be fancy.
