Addisons Paints & Chemicals Ltd.

Our place is located in Najirabad, which is part of the Sonarpur area in the South 24 Parganas district. We are over near the Boys Hostel, so it's a spot that most people in the neighborhood can point you toward. We’ve been operating as a part of the bigger Simpson group for a long time, but on the ground here, it just feels like a regular local workplace. The building is older and has seen a lot of years. We spend our days dealing with various containers and paperwork that come with handling paints and chemicals. It’s not glamorous work, and the smell of the warehouse is something you just get used to after your first week. We try to keep things organized, but in a place this size, there is always a bit of a mess somewhere. The staff here are mostly local folks who have been around for years. We aren't interested in sounding like a big corporation; we just want to get the orders filled and make sure the trucks get out on time. The road near the hostel can get busy in the afternoons, so we try to get our big moves done early. It’s a steady job in a quiet part of the district, and we just keep at it every day, making sure the work gets finished before we head home to our families.
