Aagni Tea Gallery Llp is tucked away in Sahadargachh, Bidhan Nagar. We run things from Naba Kumar Singha’s place. It is a very local setup. We spend a lot of our time looking at tea leaves and sorting them out. Being in this part of Bengal, tea is everywhere, but we wanted to have our own little space for it. The gallery isn't a big museum; it is more like a working storage area where we keep the crates. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby. You just walk in and see us working. The weather here can get very humid, which affects how we store everything. We are always checking the moisture levels. It is a lot of manual work, moving sacks around and making sure the labels don't peel off. We are a small team and we do everything together. If the floor needs cleaning, we grab a broom. If a customer calls, whoever is closest to the phone picks it up. We don't use any complicated business strategies. We just try to get good tea to people who ask for it. The area is quiet compared to the main city, which we like. It lets us focus on the details without too many distractions. We usually have a pot of tea going all day while we pack the orders. It’s a humble way to earn a living.
