Tirupati Crane Service sits right on the edge of the Mumbai-Goa Highway. We are located specifically at the 193 km mark on NH 17. The road between Bavnadi and Banda is where we spend almost all of our time every day. It is a very long stretch of highway and things can get quite hectic out here with the traffic. Having cranes means we are always dealing with heavy stuff and big machines. We stay out by the road because that is where the work usually happens for us. Sometimes the weather gets really rough, especially during the heavy monsoons, but we are just used to it by now. The yard where we keep the cranes isn't much to look at, it’s just a place for the equipment to sit. We have been here for a long time. It’s mostly just us and the machines. You see a lot of different traffic passing by our gate every single day. We know this specific route like the back of our hands. It is definitely not a glamorous life, being out on the highway all the time. We get greasy and tired, but the work just has to be done. Tirupati Crane Service has been at this location for a good while now. If you are driving between Bavnadi and Banda, you will likely see our spot. We don't have a receptionist or any fancy desks. Just some guys who know how to operate the gear. Most of the time we are out on a call.
