Standard Equipments

We are located in Jawahar Nagar, right in the Taluka Ichalkaranji area. Being near the Hatkanangale Railway Station means we hear the trains go by all day long. Standard Equipments is what we call the business, and we mostly deal with industrial machinery and parts that the local factories need. The workshop is usually a bit greasy and there is always the sound of someone working on something metal. It is an industrial part of town, so we fit right in with the surroundings. We started small and we have stayed about the same size because it is easier to manage that way. My cousins and I run the day-to-day operations. We don't use much in the way of high-tech gadgets for our office work, we prefer notebooks and pens. It helps us remember things better. People from the nearby mills often drop by when they need a specific piece of equipment or just a bit of advice on how to fix a machine. We don't have a big marketing budget or a social media page. We just rely on the fact that we have been here for years and people know we are reliable. It is a lot of manual labor and long hours, but it’s what we know how to do. The station being so close makes it easy for us to get things shipped out when we need to. It works out well for everyone.
