Swarsangam Sangeet Classes

Our shop is located at Shop No 1 on the Main Road in Sangli, which makes it very convenient for people using the bus stand nearby. Since we are so close to the transit hub, there is always a lot of noise from the buses and the crowds outside, but once you step inside, the sound of music takes over. We have various instruments leaning against the walls and chairs set out for the students. The place isn't very large, so it can feel a bit cramped when we have a full class of people practicing their singing or playing. Being in the 416416 area, we see all kinds of people coming through the doors every day. Some are just starting out and others have been coming for years. We don't have a receptionist or any fancy booking system, we just keep a notebook to track who is coming and when. The floor is a bit worn from all the foot traffic, and the walls have some old posters on them that have started to yellow at the edges. It feels like a lived-in space, which is how we like it. Most of our day is spent listening to scales and melodies, which is a nice way to spend time. It’s just a local music spot where anyone from Sangli can come by and spend an hour or two focusing on their art without any distractions from the busy road just outside our front door.
