Stepup Dance Academy

Stepup Dance Academy is located right in Sangli, at Vipul Plaza on College Corner Road. We are very close to the Classic Gents Parlour, which most people know in this area. We started the academy because we wanted a dedicated space for dance. It’s not a large, flashy studio with high-end decor. It’s a simple room with mirrors on the walls and enough space for people to move around. We teach a variety of dance styles to local students. Most of our classes are in the evening when kids are done with their school and college. We spend a lot of time practicing our own routines and then teaching them to others. The sound of music usually fills the hallway at Vipul Plaza when we are working. We don't have a big team of administrators or marketing people. It’s just us instructors running the place. We handle everything from sweeping the floor to picking the music tracks. Sangli is a nice place to live and work, and we’ve made a lot of friends through the academy. We don't promise to turn everyone into a professional dancer; we just give them a place to learn and have some fun. We have a small water cooler in the corner and a bench where parents sit and wait. It’s nothing special, but it’s ours. We’ve seen many kids grow up here, starting from their first clumsy steps to being quite good dancers. We just keep the music playing.
