Gargotti Orthopaedic Hospital

Our place, Gargotti Orthopaedic Hospital, is right by the Kolhapur Railway Station in Bhudhargad. Being so close to the station means there is always noise from the trains and people shouting outside. It can be a bit overwhelming if you aren't used to it. Inside, it is a bit quieter, but not much. We see a lot of people with broken bones or bad backs. You’ll see crutches leaning against the walls in the hallway pretty often. The floor is tiled and easy to mop, which is good because it gets dirty fast with the station traffic nearby. There are a few different floors, and the stairs are a bit steep. Most people prefer the lift when it’s working right. The doctors stay busy in the surgery rooms while the rest of us manage the intake. We don't have a fancy waiting room, just some metal chairs and a clock that’s about two minutes fast. It’s a functional building. We’ve had to fix the plumbing a few times this year, but that’s an old building for you. People travel from all over the district to come here because of where we are located. It’s just a straightforward hospital for bones and joints. No one puts on airs here. We just get through the patient list and try to make sure everyone gets seen before the day ends. It is a long walk from the main gate to the back.
