Deodhar Orthopedic Hospital

We've been running Deodhar Orthopedic Hospital here in Kolhapur for a good while now. The building is tucked away in Sykes Extension, right near Shahaji Law College, which usually makes it easy for folks to find us even if they aren't from this specific part of town. It’s a busy street during the day with students walking by, but inside the hospital, things are usually focused on getting people back on their feet. We handle a lot of bone and joint issues because that’s what we do. The waiting room isn’t anything fancy, just some chairs and a desk where the staff handles the paperwork. Most of the people who work here grew up in the area, so we know a lot of the families who come through the doors. Sometimes the parking out front gets a bit tight when there are a lot of appointments, but we manage. We don’t have big shiny signs or anything like that. It’s just a practical place for medical care. The nurses are usually running around checking on patients in the wards, and the doctors spend most of their time in the exam rooms or surgery. We try to keep things simple and just do the work that needs doing every day. It’s a bit of a routine, really. We open up early, check the schedules, and see who needs help with a fracture or some back pain. It’s just how we operate here in Kolhapur.
