Dream Computer

Dream Computer is tucked away in Shop No. 4 at Aamatya Towers, right by Dhabolkar Corner. It’s a busy part of the area, and we have been in this building for quite a bit. Most of our time is spent staring at screens or taking apart towers to see what’s wrong with them. Because it gets pretty dusty inside the machines, our hands are usually a bit dirty by the end of the day. You never know what you might need, so we have some spare parts lying around on the workbenches. Instead of a huge showroom with fancy lights, this is just a workspace where we try to fix things and sell a few items. The fans in the computers make a lot of noise sometimes, but we don't mind it. Since the chairs for people to sit on while they wait aren't the most comfortable, we try to be quick. Most of our customers are from the offices nearby or students who live in the neighborhood. A big marketing plan isn't something we have. Once the shutters are open in the morning, we just see who needs help with their tech. With all the monitors and cables everywhere, it is a bit cramped in here, but it works for us. Taking things one day at a time keeps us going. Sometimes we drink too much tea while waiting for software to install. There is always a stack of old keyboards in the corner waiting to be recycled.
