Our place is in Srinivasapur, at No. 796/2 in Ward No 19. We are located in R.K. Extension, specifically at the 10th Cross. If you know this part of Kolar, you know it’s the heart of mango country. That’s why we started this. We’re a group of mango growers who wanted to have a place of our own to organize things. During the harvest, this whole area is packed with crates and the smell of fruit is everywhere. It’s a very busy time and we don’t get much sleep. The rest of the year is more about taking care of the trees and waiting for the next season. Our office is just a regular room with a few desks and lots of registers. We aren't corporate people with polished shoes. Most of us are more comfortable out in the orchards than behind a desk. We handle everything from sorting to finding buyers. It can be stressful when the market prices change or when the weather is bad. But we’ve lived here all our lives, so we know what to expect. We don't have any big marketing slogans. We just want to get our mangoes to people and make a fair living. If you come to Srinivasapur and ask for the mango farmers at the 10th cross, people will show you where we are. We just take it day by day.
