If you come down the Main Road in Kotaballapalli Village, you will find our office at number 42. We are right there in Nelavanki Hobali, which is a part of the Srinivaspur Taluk. Bhu Phala Samvrudhi Producer Company Limited was set up as a way to handle the local produce and all the farming business around this area. It is basically a group of us trying to figure out the most sensible way to manage what we grow. The village is quite small, so almost everyone knows where our building is. We don't have any fancy marketing people or anything like that. It is just us sitting around a wooden table, going over the numbers and figuring out which farmer needs what supplies. Sometimes these meetings go on for a really long time, especially when we are talking about the upcoming harvests. Srinivaspur is known for certain crops, and we try to stay right in the middle of all that activity. The building itself is just a standard place on the main road. It gets a bit dusty when the tractors go by during the day, but that is just how life is here. We spend most of our hours talking to the growers and making sure everything is staying on track. It is a lot of coordination, really. We aren’t trying to pretend to be anything we are not. We just want to make sure the work gets done and the crops get moved to where they need to go. It is honest work.
