Hygieiasoft Private Limited is actually located a bit outside the main city rush. We are over at Villa 93 in The Empyrean, which is on the Chikatirupathi Main Road in Malur. It’s a different kind of feeling working from a villa instead of a high-rise office building in the middle of a tech park. The air is a bit clearer out here in Kolar, and it’s definitely quieter. We set up our workstations in the rooms of the house. It’s a bit of a commute for those of us coming from Bangalore, but once you get here, it’s a nice change of pace. We don't have the typical office cubicles. Instead, we use the dining area and some of the bedrooms for our desks and meetings. There’s a kitchen where we make our own coffee and sometimes cook up some snacks in the afternoon. It feels more like a home than a workplace sometimes, which we don't mind at all. Outside there’s a bit of greenery and you can actually hear birds instead of just traffic. We spend our hours on our laptops, doing development work and having calls with people in other places. Being at No. Villa 93 gives us a bit of space to breathe. It’s a straightforward setup where we just get our tasks done without the usual corporate distractions you find in the city. Most of us head back home before it gets too dark.
