Virajpet Farmer Producer Company Limited

We're down in Chickpet, over in Virajpet. It’s a busy little spot and most people around here know us as the local farmer group. We started this thing because a bunch of us growers needed a way to handle things together rather than just on our own. It’s not fancy at all. We have a small office where we sit and talk about crops, prices, and what needs doing for the next season. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit much, but that’s just how it goes with these farmer producer companies. We spend a lot of our time out in the fields or chatting on the street near the shop. It gets dusty in the summer and very muddy when the rains come, but we’re used to that. Being in Virajpet means we’re right in the middle of everything. If you walk past the main market area, you’ll probably see someone from our group. We don’t have a big fancy sign, just a place where we get the work done. It’s mostly about making sure everyone gets a fair shake. We deal with whatever comes up day to day. Sometimes it is seeds, sometimes it is tools. It’s a bit of a juggle. Life here is quiet mostly, except on the market days when everyone comes to town. We just keep our heads down and try to keep things moving for the local folks around here. It isn't always easy, but it is what we do.
