We are based out in the town of Madikeri, over on Daswal Street. Specifically, we're located at Rama Nivas, which is a pretty well-known spot in this part of the Kodagu District. Since we're part of the state government, we handle all sorts of local matters and administrative tasks that come up in this specific region. The 571201 area covers quite a bit of ground, but we stay rooted here on this street. It’s a completely different pace of life compared to the big cities like Bangalore. The office feels more like a local community hub where most people know each other’s names. We don't have that cold corporate office feel at all. It’s more about the day-to-day tasks of local government administration and helping people out with their requests. Sometimes things move a bit slower when the rain is coming down heavy, which happens quite a lot here in Kodagu. We just deal with whatever the state requires of us, whether it is filing paperwork or helping out with local land issues. The staff here grew up around these parts, so we know the people and the land very well. Rama Nivas is a practical building that works for what we need to do. We don't put on any airs or pretend to be something we're not. It’s just about getting the work done for the people in our district. If you walk down Daswal Street, you’ll find us easily enough. It’s just a normal office where we keep the records.
