De Paul Degree College

De Paul Degree College is out in Belagola, which is part of the Srirangapatna Taluk in Mandya. Being in this part of Karnataka, we are a bit away from the big city noise. The college is a place where local students from the 571606 area come to get their higher education. It’s not a complicated setup. We have the main building with the offices and classrooms, and a bit of space around it for people to walk. The day starts early here because many students have to travel from the surrounding villages. You’ll see them arriving on their bikes or taking the local buses. Our staff is a small group of people who handle everything from teaching to fixing the furniture when it breaks. It’s a practical environment. We don’t have a lot of luxury, just the essentials like a library with the necessary textbooks and some desks for studying. The atmosphere is generally quiet, except during the festivals or when there’s a sports match going on. We follow the university rules and try to make sure everyone finishes their course on time. It’s an honest place where hard work is expected but we don't make a big deal out of it. People in Mandya know us as a local option for their kids after they finish school. We’re just here doing our part in the community, day in and day out.
