Akrs Technologies

Akrs Technologies is up on the second floor of the Anand Building. That’s on Civil Line Road in the Vazhakkala Parampurwa area. It’s a bit of a climb since the elevator is temperamental and we often just take the stairs. We’ve got a view of the road from the windows, which is nice when you need a break from the computer screen. We do various tech jobs here. It's mostly software and some consulting. The space is a bit cramped because we have a lot of old computers and boxes lying around that we haven't thrown out yet. We probably should do a clean-up one of these days. The team is small, just a handful of us who’ve known each other for years. It’s a casual environment. We don't wear suits or anything like that. Usually, it’s just jeans and t-shirts. The building itself is older, but it’s sturdy. We spend a lot of time on phone calls or typing away at our desks. Vazhakkala is a busy part of town, so there's always something going on outside. We don't have a fancy mission statement or anything. We just try to get the projects finished on time so we can move on to the next one. It’s a regular office with regular people. We have a small fridge for our lunch boxes. That’s our setup. Nothing more, nothing less. Sometimes we grab a tea from the shop downstairs and chat about the traffic.
