The Builders Channel

The Builders Channel is located on Hospital Road, right near the KPCC Junction in Shenoys. It’s a pretty central spot, which is good for people stopping by, but the traffic can be a real pain during the rush hour. We have a variety of building materials here, though the place often feels smaller than it is because of how much we try to fit inside. We spend a lot of time moving crates around and helping people load things into their cars or small trucks. The rain in Kochi can be pretty heavy, so we’re always making sure the stock stays dry. We aren't a big showroom with shiny floors; it’s more of a practical store where things are stacked where they fit. We get all sorts of people coming in, from contractors to folks just trying to fix a leak at home. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we know the inventory pretty well without having to look it up. We don't do a lot of fancy sales talk. Usually, someone comes in asking for something specific, and we either have it or we tell them where they might find it. It’s a lot of manual work and standing on our feet all day. We just try to keep things moving and make sure people get what they came for without too much trouble. It is a straightforward business and we keep things simple here.
