Sanil Motor Driving School

If you know Alappuzha, you know the roads can be a bit narrow, especially near the Kochukada Bridge. That is right where we are located, on CCSB Road. Sanil Motor Driving School has been helping people get behind the wheel for a while now. It’s not an easy place to learn because of the cycles and the pedestrians everywhere, but if you can drive here, you can drive anywhere. We have a few cars that we use for lessons. They aren't the newest models, but they work fine for beginners who are still grinding the gears. I spend most of my day in the car, sometimes it gets really humid being so close to the water. We mostly focus on the basics, making sure people understand the rules and how to stay calm when the road gets crowded. Our office is small and simple, just a desk and some chairs for when students come to sign up. It’s right near the bridge, so we hear the traffic all day long. Sometimes we take the students out to the quieter back roads first so they don't get too nervous. It’s a slow process sometimes, especially with the license paperwork, but we manage.
