Our location in Muppathadam is right in the heart of the Aluva area, which is a good spot for what we do with rubber products. We’ve stayed here for a long time because it’s easy for the transport trucks and the local people already know the way to our door. Dealing with rubber is what we know best. It can be a bit of a heavy job, moving the heavy stock around and checking every piece, but we have a small, dedicated team that handles it every day. We don't have a big corporate team or anyone in suits. It’s just us. The building is simple and we keep the big doors open mostly to let the breeze in when it gets stuffy. Most of the day is spent checking the inventory logs or talking to the drivers who come to pick up the orders for the local markets. Sometimes we have tea together in the late afternoon when things finally quiet down a bit. We don't put up big signs or do much advertising because most of our work comes from people who have known us for years. It’s a quiet life here near the Muppathadam PO. If you’re looking for the place, it’s not hard to find once you get into the Aluva side of things. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s been this way for a long time and we like the routine of it all. There is a certain satisfaction in seeing a finished product ready to go out. We try to keep things organized, even when it gets really busy with new orders.
