We are set up in Ernakulam, right across from Oberon Mall in the Edapally area. It is a good location because everyone knows where the mall is, so we never have to explain our location for too long. Being in this part of town means there is always something happening outside the door. Our daily routine is mostly about managing the fashion side of things and keeping the business running smoothly. It is a lot of work, more than most people think when they see the finished clothes. We deal with suppliers and check on the quality of the garments coming in. Sometimes the weather in Kerala makes things a bit humid in the workspace, but we have got fans and we keep the windows open when the rain stops. We are not trying to be the biggest company in the world. We just want to do our job well and stay honest about what we do every day. The office is not anything special to look at, just desks, racks, and plenty of tea to keep us going through the afternoon slump. We have had some ups and downs like any other small business, but we are still here. Most of our day is spent on the phone or looking at fabric samples. It is steady work and it keeps us busy. People around Edapally might see us coming and going, just another group of people working in the trade.
