Inchino

You can find Inchino over in the New Indian Express Building in Kaloor. It’s a well-known landmark in Ernakulam, so we’re not too hard to find. We’ve been here for a while. The building itself is busy with office people and journalists coming and going all day long. 682017 is the pin code if you’re looking us up on a map. It’s a basic setup inside our space. We have some tables and a kitchen that stays pretty busy most of the time. It’s not one of those modern, shiny places you see popping up everywhere in the city now. We like it that way. It feels more real and comfortable. The staff has been around for a bit and we all know how the daily routine goes. We open the shutters, get the water boiling, and wait for the morning crowd to arrive. Kaloor is a hectic place, always something happening on the streets outside. Being inside the building gives us a bit of a shield from all that noise, though you can still hear the traffic humming. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything fancy. We just stay open and serve whoever comes through the door. It’s just a regular job for us. We keep things tidy and try to make sure everything runs okay. Most of the people who eat here work in the same building, but we get some others too from Kaloor.
