Indipendent Practice As Lawyer

My law practice is located in Cochin, at a place called Geeth Govind on Changampuzha Samadhy Road. The full address is Gtwra 51, and it’s where I, Adv Latha K, handle most of my legal work. It’s a very local setting in Edappally, surrounded by the usual Kerala greenery and the sound of traffic from the main roads. My office is packed with law books and thick files tied with red string. It’s the kind of place that smells a bit like old paper and ink. I spend my days either at court or sitting here at my desk, reading through cases and drafting documents. It’s not a corporate law firm with glass walls; it’s a personal practice where people come in to talk about their problems over a glass of water. The rain here can be quite loud against the roof during the monsoon months, which makes it hard to hear sometimes, but we manage. I’ve been practicing here for quite a while, and the neighbors all know my name. It’s an Indipendent way of working, which means I handle everything from the initial phone call to the final court appearance. It keeps me busy, and there’s always something new to learn. The road outside is usually busy with people going to the temple or the local shops, so there is always a sense of life moving around the office while I work.
