Freelance

This workspace for Freelance is located in Chottanikkara, right at a place called Karthika. If you know Kochi, you know this area can get quite busy with people visiting the temple, but where I am stays mostly calm. I’ve been doing work from here for a bit. It’s a small operation. I don't have a big staff or a receptionist. It’s just me sitting here dealing with whatever comes across my desk. The house is a typical local style, nothing modern or flashy. I find that working from a residential area helps me stay focused. I don't have to deal with the noise of the main city center. I usually keep my own hours, which is the main reason I went freelance in the first place. I grew up around here, so I know the neighbors and the shortcuts to avoid the crowds. There’s no big sign outside saying what I do. People just know me. I keep my tools and books nearby and just get on with things. It’s honest work. Some days I'm very busy and others are slower, but that's the nature of the job. I don't try to make it sound more important than it is. It's just a guy in Kochi getting his work done every day. It suits me fine. It's a simple life and a simple job, really. I plan to stay here for as long as I can.
