Euro Tech Maritime Academy

We run the Euro Tech Maritime Academy right across from the TVS showroom at Deshabhimani Junction in Kaloor. It’s a very busy part of town, which is good for us. We do a lot of maritime training here. If you’re looking to work on ships or in the shipping industry, this is where we do all the prep work. The academy has been at this junction for a while. We have instructors who have spent years out at sea, so they actually know what they are talking about. The classrooms are set up for learning the technical bits of maritime law and safety. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady work for those who want it. We spend a lot of time on safety drills and technical manuals. The office can get a bit hectic with all the enrollment paperwork and people asking about certifications. We try to keep things organized, though it’s a lot to manage sometimes with so many students. Being right at the junction means there is always noise from the street, but you get used to it after a few days. We don’t go in for big promises or fancy brochures. We just tell people what they need to know to get their papers in order and find work on a vessel. It’s a straightforward operation. Most of our students are hard workers looking for a way to get out on the water and start their careers properly.
