Brighton Beach House

Being at 3/783 North Cherai Beach means we get a lot of salt air and the sound of waves all day long. Brighton Beach House is right there in the Ernakulam district, and honestly, the location does most of the talking. We’re just a small group of people keeping the house in order. It’s an old-fashioned kind of place, nothing like those big modern hotels you see in the city. We spend a lot of our time sweeping sand off the floors because it gets everywhere, no matter how hard we try. The house has its old bits and pieces, maybe a window that rattles when the wind is high, but it’s sturdy. We like being part of the North Cherai community. It’s a bit away from the really crowded parts, which we prefer. Most days, we’re just checking the linens or making sure the gate is shut. We don’t go in for big advertisements or anything. People usually find us because they want to be near the water without all the fuss. We stay busy with the upkeep, especially during the monsoon when things get really damp. It’s a simple life by the beach, and we wouldn't change much about it. Just a regular beach house with regular people running it. We’re here if you’re looking for a spot that feels like a home instead of a business. We just take it day by day here.
