We are based out of Ranjeet Kumar Karamkar’s place in Powakhali. It is a small spot in Kishanganj, right here in Bihar. Mostly, we spend our time thinking about the crops and how the soil is doing this year. It isn't a big fancy office or anything like that. Just some local people from around here trying to get things organized so we can handle our farming business a bit better. The weather in this part of Bihar can be pretty tough, especially when the rains don't come exactly when they should, but we manage somehow. You will find us mostly talking about seeds or what tools we need for the next season. We don't have any marketing people writing this, just one of us sitting down to say we are here. It is quiet in Powakhali most days. We work with the land and the seasons because that is what we have always done. Sometimes the harvest is good and sometimes it is a bit thin, but that is just how farming goes for us. Being part of Krishananchal Farmer Producer Company Limited means we can share the load. It makes the heavy work feel a bit lighter when you have neighbors helping out. We are just down the road from the main part of the village. If you happen to stop by, you might see us sorting through grain or just sitting for a quick tea. There is not much more to it than that. We are just farmers in Kishanganj, doing our best.
