Fatma Estate Agrotech Private Limited

We are located over in Shishagachhi, which is in the Powakhali area of Thakurganj block. Our office is basically with Fakhruddin, and that is where we handle all the agrotech work for the estate. Kishanganj is a bit of a different place compared to other parts of Bihar, and we like it here. The work we do is focused on the land and how to use technology to make things grow better. It’s a private limited company, but it feels more like a family operation. We don't have a big staff or a fancy building. It is just a simple setup in the village where we can focus on the crops. Sometimes the weather in Kishanganj gets pretty wet, so we have to plan around that. We spend a lot of time out in the fields or sitting in the office going over the numbers. There is always something to fix or a new problem to solve with the machinery. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words. We just want to get the job done and make sure the estate is running like it should. Neighbors walk by and wave, and sometimes they come in for a cup of tea while we talk about the season. It’s a quiet life but the work is constant. We keep our records simple and our goals practical, just working the land day by day in Shishagachhi. It is a long process but we enjoy it.
