That’s the big power station, so it makes it easy to tell people where we are. The G. T. Road is always packed with people and rickshaws, so it takes a bit of patience to reach us. Our building is right there in the middle of all the other factories and shops. We spend our days dealing with various ceramic items and keeping track of what’s coming in and going out of the warehouse. It’s a loud area because of the machinery and the constant hum from the Bijli Ghar across the street. We’ve got a small crew and we all know our roles pretty well by now. There is always a layer of dust on the windows, no matter how many times we wipe them down. It’s just part of being in an industrial zone. We start our mornings with a quick meeting and then get straight to the pallets. The office inside is small and usually filled with samples and paperwork. We don't have much time for sitting around.
