Zuffini Foods

Our spot is at 266 Lewis Road, over in the Bjb Nagar area. It’s a nice part of town, and we’ve been here long enough that people recognize us. We’re mostly busy in the back where the food prep happens. It’s a small space, so things can get a bit crowded when we have a lot of orders to get through. You can usually hear the sound of knives on cutting boards and the hum of the refrigerators as soon as you walk in. We don't have a fancy dining area or anything like that because we focus more on getting the food ready. The kitchen gets pretty hot during the lunch rush, so we keep the back door open when we can. We get our ingredients delivered almost every day, so there’s always someone hauling crates of vegetables or bags of flour through the door. The street outside can get a bit clogged with cars, but that’s just Lewis Road for you. We don't do much in the way of fancy branding or anything. We just write out the daily tasks on a whiteboard and get to it. Our team is small, mostly just local people who live nearby. We spend a lot of time cleaning up after ourselves because food work is messy. It’s a lot of long hours on our feet, but we’re used to the routine by now. We don't make a big deal out of things, we just try to get the food right every single time.
