The Academy Tutorial

We set up The Academy Tutorial at Jenari Gachha Square in Puri. It is a good location because it is right near the Ramchandi Temple, which is a place most people around here visit quite often. The square itself can be a bit noisy with the traffic and the shops, but inside our rooms, it is usually quiet enough to get some work done. We have been here for a while, and the locals seem to know us by now. We do not have any big signs or neon lights to attract attention. It is just a plain building where we have set up some benches and tables for the students. We spend our mornings getting the lesson plans ready and our evenings teaching. It is a simple routine that we have followed for years. Sometimes we run out of chalk or the markers dry up, and one of us has to run down to the local shop to get more. We do not have a corporate office or anyone telling us how to run things. It is just a small group of us who enjoy teaching. The weather in Puri can be quite humid, so we keep the windows open to let the breeze in from the coast. We are not trying to be anything big; we just want to provide a place for kids to learn their subjects near their homes.
