We aren't some big-city firm with a glass building. We are right in the middle of the community. Our team is small, and we mostly focus on software work. We’ve been part of the Cuttack scene for a while. The office is usually a bit cluttered with papers and old hardware, but we know where everything is. We started Otech because we wanted to work for ourselves and stay close to home. There’s no dress code here; usually, it’s just jeans and t-shirts. We talk to each other across the room instead of sending formal emails. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, though we do work hard when there’s a deadline. Sometimes we take breaks and walk down Gosala Road to get some snacks. We don't have a PR person or a marketing budget. We just do the work and let that speak for us. It’s a simple business. We deal with software problems and try to find solutions that actually work for people. It’s not always easy, but it’s what we do. We’ve seen a lot of changes in the area, but our little office stays pretty much the same. We just keep coding and fixing things.
