At Manager Singh Food & Beverages Privatelimited, things are pretty quiet compared to the big cities. We are located out in Gadadeulia, near Baisinga in the Mayurbhanj district. If you look at the records, we’re on a couple of different plots of land here, specifically under Khata No-492/187 and No-780/2569/2917. It’s a rural spot, so we spend a lot of time dealing with the local weather and making sure our supplies get here on the dusty roads. We work with food and drinks, mostly just trying to provide what the local community needs. We don't have a marketing department or a fancy website. It’s just us and a few helpers from the village. The work is mostly manual, moving crates around and making sure the storage stays cool during the summer months. It gets really hot out here, so that’s always a struggle. Sometimes the rain makes the roads messy and things slow down, but we just wait it out. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to run a decent business and earn a living. My family has lived in this part of Orissa for a long time, so we know everyone around here. We just show up every morning, unlock the gates, and get to work. It’s a simple life and the work is honest. We don’t need much else besides some good weather and a busy day to keep us happy.
