Jyoti Engineering

Jyoti Engineering is situated at Plot No: 690, right behind Kalinga Stadium in Nayapalli. It’s easy to find if you know where the stadium is. We get a lot of noise from the crowds during game days, but usually, it's just the sound of our own tools and the radio. We do a mix of repair work and making small parts. The workshop is a basic shed with a high ceiling that keeps it a bit cooler. We’ve got some lathes and a drill press that have seen better days but they still run fine for our needs. Most of the guys here wear overalls that are stained with grease. It’s part of the job. We don’t have a website or anything like that. Most people just see the sign when they are driving past the stadium and stop in. We handle stuff for local contractors and people from the Nayapalli area. Sometimes we have a pile of scrap metal out back that we need to clear out when it gets too big. It’s just a regular engineering shop. We don’t try to be something we aren't. If something needs fixing or a metal piece needs a hole drilled in a specific spot, we do it. The office is just a desk in the corner of the workshop. It’s dusty, but it works for us. We just keep our heads down and do the work that comes in.
