Petco Engineering Industries

Our shop is located on Old Jagannath Road, right in the heart of the Industrial Estate. It’s a good spot because we are close to all the suppliers we need. We do a lot of heavy lifting here at Petco Engineering Industries. Most of the guys have been with us for ten years or more, so they know the machines inside out. The building itself is older, but it serves its purpose. We spend a lot of time on the workshop floor, checking the lathes and making sure the welding is done right. It gets pretty hot in the summer, but we keep the fans going and just get on with it. Sometimes we have a pile of scrap metal out front that needs clearing, but usually, it’s a pretty organized mess. We don’t do much advertising; most of our work comes from people who know us on this road. If you walk down Old Jagannath Road, you can hear us working from a block away. We handle a variety of metalwork and fabrication jobs. Nothing too fancy, just solid engineering work that lasts. Sometimes the rain makes the road a bit muddy, but the trucks still manage to get in and out. We enjoy being part of the local industrial scene here. It’s just how we make a living, and we’ve been doing it long enough to know what works and what doesn't. We usually wrap up around six and lock the gates for the night.
