We run Ishani Roller & Flour Mills Privatelimited. Our place is in Rajsunakhala at Ganesh Bazar. The specific location is Plot No-684 in Pananagar. Being a flour mill means there is always a bit of dust in the air. It’s part of the job. We spend our days grinding grain and packing it up. It’s loud in here when the machines are running. We’ve been part of the Ganesh Bazar community for quite some time. People come to us from all over Rajsunakhala. It’s a simple business. We don't have a corporate strategy or anything fancy. We just make sure the rollers are working and the flour is coming out right. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to fix them ourselves. That’s just how it is with mill work. Pananagar is a decent place to be located. It’s easy for people to find us since we are right near the bazaar. We don’t spend money on ads. The name Ishani Roller & Flour Mills is enough for the locals to know who we are. It’s a lot of heavy lifting. Bags of grain are heavy and the days can be long. We aren't looking to change much. We just want to keep the mill going and serve the folks who need us. It’s practical work. We like the routine of it. The smells of the grain are something you get used to after a while.
