Hotel Toshali Sands is right on Waterworks Road in Puri, specifically in the Neermalya area. Our zip code is 752002. Being in a place like Puri means we see a lot of people coming and going, mostly for the temple or the beach. Our spot on Waterworks Road is a bit away from the heaviest crowds, which is nice sometimes. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write polished speeches for us. It is just the staff here trying to keep the place running. We spend a lot of our time cleaning, fixing things that break, and talking to the people who stay with us. Sometimes the weather gets really humid because we are so close to the coast, and that makes the work a bit harder. We don't use a lot of big words to describe what we do. It’s just a hotel. We make sure the beds are made and the water is running. Most of us have lived in Puri for a long time, so we know the shortcuts and where to get the best tea nearby. The building has its quirks, like any place does. We just take things as they come and try to be helpful when someone asks a question. It’s a simple life here. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We just stay busy and keep the place open for whoever needs it. It’s just a building near the waterworks and we like it.
