Drim Foods And Beverages is our small company located at Plot 215A in the Khandagiri Bari area. If you know Bhubaneswar, you know Khandagiri is famous for the caves, and we are just a little way from there. We mostly handle different food items and some drinks. It’s a simple operation where we keep track of what’s coming in and what’s going out. The building we work out of is pretty basic, but it fits all our crates and cooling equipment just fine. We started this because we wanted to do something with food in our own neighborhood. It gets pretty hot in this part of Orissa, so keeping the beverages cool is always a priority for us. We don't use any of those big corporate phrases or have a polished image. It’s just us, working in Khordha, trying to keep the business going. Sometimes the inventory gets a bit disorganized when a big shipment arrives unexpectedly, but we sort it out eventually. My brother and a couple of guys from the street help with the heavy lifting and the local deliveries. We don't spend money on advertising or anything like that. We just rely on people knowing we are here. It’s a lot of long hours sometimes, especially when we have a lot of orders to fill before the weekend. But we like the work and being part of the local community here in Khandagiri.
