Running Ariyan Fish Traders (Opc) Private Limited means waking up before the sun is even thinking about coming out. We are based out of Plot No-1572/1985 in Gobardhanpur. It is right in the Bhusandpur area, close to Tangi. If you know the district, you know this part of Khurdha gets a lot of fresh catch. The smell of the water and the fish is just part of our life now. We spend the early hours sorting through what comes in. It’s messy work, always some water on the floor and ice melting everywhere. We mostly deal with local folks and some markets further out. It is just a one-person company on paper, but there are always people helping move crates and checking the quality. We don't have a fancy lobby or chairs for visitors. Just the space where the work happens. Sometimes the trucks are late and we just sit around drinking tea until they show up. It’s honest work. Dealing with fish means you can't waste time because things spoil fast. We focus on getting the crates moved and keeping the records straight. It’s not glamorous at all. My hands are usually cold from the ice. But being here in Bhusandpur, doing this every day, is how we make our living. It’s just how it goes in this trade. We don't have much of a website or anything, just our reputation here. We stay busy and keep the floors scrubbed as best as we can.
