Abdig Infotech Llp is set up in Chaitatnya Palace, which is right on Canal Road in Bhubanipur. Being in Nimapara, near Puri, gives the place a different feel than being in the middle of a big city. The air is a bit different here, and the view of the canal is something we see every day when we walk in. We spend most of our time inside, working through whatever projects are on the table. The office is pretty straightforward. We don't have any of those modern lounges or bean bags you see in magazines. It’s just a place where we sit down and get things moving. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of the road outside, but we just clean it up and keep going. Working in Orissa-752106 means we deal with the local pace of things, which we actually quite like. It isn't always fast, but the work gets done eventually. We have our coffee or tea in the small break area, and we usually talk about everyday things, not just work. It’s a small team, so everyone knows everyone else’s business anyway. We’ve been here for a while and have gotten used to the quirks of the building. It’s our home base, and it suits the way we operate. No bells or whistles, just us and our computers on Canal Road.
