Pmu Housing Urban Developmentgovt Of Orissa

We are based at Plot No Pp 24 in Pandav Nagar, Lane 3, over in Bhubaneswar, Orissa. This is the office for the Pmu Housing and Urban Development for the government of Orissa. It’s not like those private offices with glass partitions and modern art. It’s a government building, so it’s very functional. We have rows of desks covered in files and stacks of papers related to various urban projects. The building itself is sturdy and has been here for years. Pandav Nagar is a relatively quiet area, which helps us focus on the complicated plans we have to review. We aren't here to be flashy or impress anyone. Our job is to handle the administrative side of housing and urban growth. It involves a lot of reading and checking details. We have a small canteen nearby where most of us get our tea and snacks. During the monsoon, the rain can get quite heavy, and you can hear it drumming on the roof. It’s a very grounded atmosphere. We all know each other well since many of us have been in the department for a long time. We don't have a marketing team because we don't really need one. We just do the work that is assigned to our unit. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we take it one day at a time. It’s a simple, busy life in a growing city.
