International Consultant Oil And Gas

We are located on the seventh floor of Bhagwan Tower, specifically in room 706. It’s right on Cuttack Road in Bhubaneswar, which is a pretty loud part of town most of the time. International Consultant Oil And Gas is basically a small group of us looking at maps and technical data for energy projects. We aren't out there drilling the wells ourselves, but we do a lot of the background checking that people need. The office has a good view of the traffic below, which is a nice distraction when the spreadsheets start to look the same. Being in Orissa, we deal with a lot of local firms and some that are further away. The desks are crowded with thick binders and old industry journals. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find fancy furniture or a coffee machine that makes lattes. We just have a kettle and some packets of sugar for our tea. The air conditioning struggles a bit in the summer heat of 751006, but we make it work. Sometimes the elevator in the building is slow, so we end up waiting around and chatting with other people from the tower. It’s just a regular day-to-day operation where we try to give solid advice without overcomplicating things. We’ve got a few old maps pinned to the walls that are probably outdated, but they remind us of where we’ve been and what we have done. It is a simple place to work.
