Swastik Cement Products

We've been here on Station Road for quite a while now, right across from M.P. High School. If you walk by, you’ll usually see the yard full of finished cement blocks drying out in the sun. It’s a bit of a dusty place, honestly, but that’s just how it goes when you’re working with concrete every day. My clothes usually have a thin layer of grey on them by lunchtime. We start early in the morning before it gets too hot, getting the mixers going and making sure the molds are ready. It’s noisy work, especially when the trucks come in to pick up an order for a local building project. Sometimes the school kids stand and watch for a minute through the gate before their classes start. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. Just the stacks of pipes and bricks and the guys moving things around. It’s hard on the back, lifting those heavy pieces all day, but we’re used to it. The rain sometimes slows us down because the yard gets muddy, but we just wait it out and get back to it. Most people around here know us just as the cement place near the school. We don’t do much talking, mostly just focusing on getting the mix right so the products don't crack. It’s a simple setup, really. Just a few of us making sure things get done and the yard stays organized enough to find what we need.
