St Mary'S Convent High School

You can find us on Palsud Road in Mundi. We have been a part of this community in Khandwa for a long time. The school building is quite easy to spot. We have a lot of students from the town and the surrounding areas. Every morning starts with the assembly in the open ground. You can hear the prayers and the announcements from the street if you are walking by. Our teachers live nearby mostly. They take their jobs seriously and make sure the kids stay on track with their books. The classrooms have basic benches and blackboards. We have a playground where the children spend their break time. It is usually quite noisy then, with kids running around and playing. We have a uniform that all the students wear. It keeps things simple. During the rainy season, the road outside gets a bit muddy, but everyone still makes it to class. We follow the standard curriculum and hold exams twice a year. The parents often stop by the gate to check on their children's progress. It is a friendly place. We don't have fancy equipment, but we have what is necessary for a high school. Most of the staff has been here for a decade or more. We know the names of almost every family that sends their children here. We also have a small garden area that the older students help look after sometimes. It gives them something to do outside of their books and they seem to enjoy the break from studying. It is a quiet life, but we stay busy enough.
