Saraswati Shishu Vidhya Mandir High School

Over here in Mundi, which is part of the Khandwa district, you’ll find our school. It’s a Saraswati Shishu Vidhya Mandir High School, and we’ve been at this spot for a long time. Mundi is the kind of place where everyone knows each other, so the school feels like a central part of the town. We have a routine that hasn't changed much over the years. We start the day early when the air is still a bit cool. The building itself is simple, with long corridors and heavy wooden doors that have seen better days. You can see the fields not too far away, and sometimes the smell of the crops comes through the windows. We don't have a lot of fancy tech, just the usual desks, chairs, and blackboards. The staff room is always a bit cluttered with books and old newspapers. We spend our time making sure the kids have their books and that the playground is clear of stones. In Khandwa, the summers are really something, so we all slow down a bit when the sun is high. There’s a certain peace in the afternoons when the lessons are going on and you only hear the birds outside. We don’t put on airs here. We’re just a local school in a small town trying to keep things moving along. It’s practical work, and we like it that way. No one is trying to impress anyone, we just stay busy.
