About Shri Sai International School – Education in Khargone
Sanawad is a small place, and Pandit Colony is one of those spots where everyone knows everyone. That’s where Shri Sai International School is. We are in the Khargone district, so it gets quite hot here in the peak of summer. The school is a simple structure. We don't have any big glass walls or air-conditioned hallways. It’s mostly just bricks, mortar, and a lot of energetic children. Every morning, the yellow buses pull up and the noise level just shoots up. We have a small office near the front where we keep all the records in big steel cupboards. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. The teachers spend their breaks sitting together, sharing food and talking about their classes. We don't have a mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just want the kids to learn their lessons and be respectful. Sometimes we have to fix a leaky tap or paint a classroom during the holidays. It’s just us doing the maintenance work. The playground gets dusty, especially when the wind picks up, but that’s just part of living in this area. We focus on the day-to-day things, making sure the chalk is stocked and the bells are rung on time. It’s a basic, functional school for the community here in Sanawad, and we’ve been doing this for quite some years now without any real complaints from the parents.
